Octavo. 312, [8, blank] pp. With inserted frontispiece. Publisher’s full orange cloth, front cover decoratively stamped and lettered in black, spine lettered in black, dust jacket. Jacket spine has some edgewear, and a few closed tears, some rubbing to jacket edges, cloth spine has a short tear in the middle, and a small soil mark near the bottom. Previous owner’s signature and date on front and rear pastedowns. Book’s name and title written on bottom of text block in green ink. Still, a near fine copy.

This book, clearly meant to capitalize on the popularity of Tarzan, puts the heroine in peril from white and non-white men alike, until she finds true love and a “true understanding of herself.â€
