The store's name, “Dragon Books,” comes from the first book I read as a child – John Gardner’s dark children’s story Dragon, Dragon. That was the beginning of a way of life, one that has altered the way I live, work, read, and obtain happiness. Ever since the store's small early beginnings, we have worked diligently to become one of the world’s best locations (in-store and online) for hard-to-find rare and antiquarian books. Not only has Dragon invested many years in defining its collection, it has also invested almost equally in developing and staffing its operation. We are proud to have true bibliophiles working for Dragon, who can assist anyone from the novice to the serious collector in all aspects of book collecting.
