Bound in contemporary half crushed olive levant morocco over marbled boards, spines tooled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, top edges gilt, marbled end-papers. Some light rubbing, 8 volumes with mild chipping to head-caps, else a near fine set.

This is one of the best and most complete surveys of English poetry up to the mid-nineteenth century.
