Publisher’s full blue cloth, spine stamped in black and silver, price-clipped dust jacket. Some rubbing to jacket, one short creased tear to lower edge of front panel, lower corners of jacket bumped, one tape repair to verso of jacket, mild rubbing to cloth. Still, a near fine copy.
This book is perhaps the best study of the relationship between the related arts of painting, writing, and theatre ever produced. The author was the Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University at the time.
