Written pseudonymously by Horace Biddle (1811-1900), a judge and member of the Indiana Constitutional Convention this work contains hundreds of short poems on various topics, ranging from creation, America and heroes to critics, priests and politicians. Of special interest is the humorous 7 page “note†listing sixty eight reasons why the author believes that Junius is Horace Walpole! A humorous and rare collection of early American poetry.
