Spine sunned, some mild edgewear to spine and covers, rear hinge starting (yet still very solid). A very good copy of a rare and important work on narcotics.

First edition of the author’s most important work: the modern classic of psychoactive drug classification. Lewin’s categories -- Euphorics, Phantastics, Inebriants, Hypnotics and Excitants – to date have not really been superseded by another system. The work has been translated into French, Italian and English. The 1931 English edition introduced Aldous Huxley to drug literature.
