Small octavo. 496 pp. Extensively illustrated throughout. Bound by E. E. Yellin in contemporary quarter brown calf over marbled boards, spine tooled, ruled and lettered in gilt in compartments, marbled endleaves. Light rubbing to binding, front hinge cracked (yet still solid). Overall, near fine.
This book covers European architecture from the fourth century to the present day (the 1960's). Also, it has an American Postscript, with its brief look at American architecture.
