Small octavo. [256] pp. With twenty-one pages of black and white photos of Picasso and his work inserted throughout. Publisher's printed wraps, text in Spanish. Wraps browned, edges rubbed, spine creased and soiled, one gutter over-opened. Still, very good.
Presentation copy, warmly inscribed on the title page by the author to Sanford Roth, who took the front cover photo and the portrait frontispiece photo of Picasso. The author, Jaime Sabartes, was Picasso's longtime secretary and friend. This book should be of the highest interest to anyone interested in Picasso's work and life.
