Text in French. Bound in quarter crimson morocco over marbled boards, spines tooled and lettered in gilt in compartments, four raised bands, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Some wear and light soiling to extremities, hinges of volumes I and IV cracked, hinges of volume II starting. Lynn, Massachusetts Public Library bookplate to front pastedown of each volume, with corresponding stamp to pg. 101. A good copy of this lovely work.
