An excellent copy of this scarce work, translated from the original Sanskrit prose and verse by Arthur Berriedale Keith.
Keith (1879–1944) was a constitutional lawyer, prolific author, and scholar of Sanskrit. He was a Professor of Sanskrit at Oxford before being appointed Regius Professor of Sanskrit and Lecturer in Constitutional History in the University of Edinburgh. His papers on Sanskrit and the history and law of India and the British Empire are held in the University of Edinburgh Library.
