Publisher's full red leatherette, spine and front cover stamped in gilt and blind, illustrated endpapers, with two original dust jackets. Minor rubbing to extremities, corner of a few leaves lightly creased. Jackets (particularly outer jacket) rubbed, somewhat soiled, and edge-worn, with a couple small chips to edges. Overall a very good copy.

A lovely copy of this scarce work from the 'Prince of Gastronomy', one of the most acclaimed food writers of the twentieth century.
