Full contemporary marbled Spanish calf, spine tooled in gilt in compartments, gilt-lettered black morocco spine labels, edges stained red, marbled endpapers. From the library of the Santa Barbara Historical Society, with their stamp (and later withdrawn stamp) to front flyleaf verso in each volume. Some minor edge-wear to calf, a few corners lightly bumped, one gathering loose but sound. Overall a very good copy.
