Quarto. 213 pp., including 41 tipped-in sepia toned plates. Full black publisher's cloth, spine and front cover lettered in gilt, portrait onlaid to front cover, patterned endpapers. With original slipcase. Slipcase is lightly rubbed and soiled, but still very good. Book has faint rubbing to cloth and a mild odor of soap, but still near fine.

This handsomely produced work explores renowned author Lewis Carroll's fascination with children through his own photography and letters.
